Collection Classification and Presentation of Statistical Data – Primary and Secondary data, Methods of data collection; Tabulation of data; Graphs and charts; Frequency distributions; Diagrammatic presentation of frequency distributions.  

Measures of Central Tendency- Common measures of central tendency – mean median and mode; Partition values- quartiles, deciles, percentiles.  

Measures of Dispersion- Common measures dispersion – range, quartile deviations, mean deviation and standard deviation; Measures of relative dispersion.  

SSC CGL Tier II Paper-III

As I have already discussed in my previous post that SSC has released notification for Combined Graduate Level recruitment for 2013. While applying for the application there is a post of Statistical Investigator Grade-II. If candidates want to apply for this post then only they have to give Tier II Paper-III which is more or less like a paper of pure statistics. Many candidates apply for this post while filling their preference, not knowing anything about statistics. Also the paper-III is scheduled to be held on 20-07-2013 which is one day before date of Paper-I and Paper-II.

MPPSC Pre Exam 2012

The examination of MPPSC State Service Exam 2012 which is scheduled to be held on 24-02-2013 is most likely to be postponed as there was a court case filed by some candidates that they were not able to submit the application on time(due to whatever reasons).

(UPDATE) Admit card of MPPSC Pre 2012 is now available for download. The exam is scheduled on 24-02-2013.

Few days back I went to a friend`s home. There I met a person who was very casual about life. He was working in IT sector since last 5 years. During the course of conversation we discussed about life insurance, SIP(Systematic Investment Plan) like PF, RD etc. He said that he wants to buy a bike which will cost him around 1.5 lac. SSC CGL 2013

Staff Selection Commission has released notification for Combined Graduate Level recruitment for 2013. It was feared by many candidates that from this year there will be written mains for Tier 2 of the examination, they can now take a deep breath as there will be NO change in examination pattern this year.
